Monster Hunter Rise PC Keyboard Weapon Controls (2024)

Monster Hunter Rise is finally coming to PC. If you’re planning to join the hunt, here are the Monster Hunter Rise weapon controls to help you get started. Note that you can change these Monster Hunter Rise keybindings in the settings section of the game.

Monster Hunter Rise Weapon Controls

Great Sword

  • Left Mouse Button – Overhead Slash (Can be held to charge)
  • Right Mouse Button – Wide Slash
  • Left + Right Mouse Button – Rising Slash
  • Right Mouse Button (While Charging) – Tackle
  • Mouse Button 4 (While in Midair) – Plunging Thrust
  • Mouse Button 4 – Guard

Long Sword

  • Left Mouse Button – Overhead Slash
  • Right Mouse Button – Thrust
  • W A S D + Left + Right Mouse Button – Attack While Moving
  • Mouse Button 4 – Spirit Blade
  • Mouse Button 4 + Right Mouse Button (During a Combo) – Foresight Slash
  • Mouse Button 4 + Space (After Attacking) – Special Sheathe

Sword and Shield

  • Left Mouse Button – Chop
  • Right Mouse Button – Lateral Slash
  • W A S D + Right Mouse Button – Shield Attack
  • Left + Right Mouse Button – Advancing Slash
  • Mouse Button 4 + Left Mouse Button – Rising Slash
  • Mouse Button 4 – Guard

Dual Blades

  • Left Mouse Button – Double Slash
  • Right Mouse Button – Lunging Strike
  • Left + Right Mouse Button – Blade Dance
  • Mouse Button 4 – Demon Mode/Cancel (While in Demon/Archdemon Mode)

Hammer

  • Left Mouse Button – Overhead Smash
  • Right Mouse Button – Side Smash
  • Mouse Button 4 (Hold) – Charge
  • Mouse Button 4 (Charge then Release) – Charged Attack
  • Right Mouse Button (While Charging) – Charge Switch

Hunting Horn
